Ellie 8.14 introduces email notifications to keep users informed about key activity even when they are not actively using the platform. Users now receive notification emails when they are mentioned in comments or when someone replies in threads they are involved in. Each notification includes clear context — who commented, what was said, and where in the model the activity occurred — enabling quicker responses and seamless continuation of collaboration. Email notifications are enabled by default but can be turned off in user settings, giving each user control over their alert preferences.
You can now receive email notifications for important activity in Ellie, so you don’t miss discussions when you’re not actively in the tool.
Stay on top of mentions and replies
When someone tags you in a comment or replies to a thread you’re involved in, you’ll get notified. If you’re online, the notification appears in-app. If you’re away, it arrives by email.
Jump straight to the context
Notification emails give you enough context to act quickly — showing who commented, what was said, and where it happened — so you can jump straight into the model and continue the conversation.
You’re in control
Email notifications are on by default, but you can turn them off anytime in your user settings.
That’s it — fewer missed messages, no extra noise.
