What You’ll Do

• Expand and enhance the core of our product by developing the modeling canvas using React Flow and Yjs for real-time collaboration. Build integrations with various data platforms to extend functionality.
• Design and implement new features while continuously improving and refining existing ones to optimize the user experience.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow professionally.‍
• Collaborate closely with our architect to propose and drive company-wide technical initiatives, shaping the future of our product’s architecture.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a startup or consulting environment. This is an ‘almost senior’ or ‘senior’ position, ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career, contribute to a growing company, and mentor others.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to develop quick yet elegant solutions to complex problems, showcasing strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of core programming concepts. Proactively identifies and solves the issues.
• Fullstack Drive: A strong passion for fullstack development, with hands-on experience building both frontend and backend, tackling complex challenges, and delivering seamless, end-to-end application experiences.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL, and comfortable working across the full stack. Experience with Yjs, ReactFlow, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Metadata & Data Understanding: Familiarity with metadata, data warehousing, and data catalogs is a plus.
• Passion for Technology: A consistent interest in coding and digital technologies, always seeking to learn, grow, and explore beyond specific tools or frameworks to solve complex problems.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Ready to contribute your insights, mentor others, and shape team processes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Building and maintaining a positive team spirit.
• Emotional Intelligence & Objectivity: The ability to stay composed under pressure, listen actively, and adapt to change with maturity. Open to different perspectives, focusing on the best solution rather than defending personal ideas, and willing to adjust when presented with better alternatives.

Success Milestones

• During the First Month: Contribute to the shipment of new features.
• After 2 Months: Lead key features and help guide new product developments.
• After 4 Months: Become an integral part of the team, actively mentoring others and driving the product’s growth.

Practical Details

• Our office is in Lauttasaari, Helsinki; we work in a hybrid model (usually a few office days per week)
• Salary: Competitive monthly pay (€4,000–6,500)
• Options program for employees, so you’ll have equity opportunities as we grow.
